18K ROSE GOLD DOUBLE SNAKE RING

Who doesn't love a great snake ring? This particular example has an import hallmark into France ( number 75 inside an owl), which means the ring was imported into the country sometime after 1893. I believe this piece could be Victorian or early 1900s. Super comfortable to wear with low profile, it has a couple of repairs seen from the back, but otherwise it looks great on and is well made.
Two 3mm rose cut diamonds adorn the heads. The ring is not marked for purity but tests 18k gold that has a rose color hue to it.
It measures approx. 16.5mm north to south, weights 5 grams.
