    Gorgeous antique sapphire pin to ring conversion, it was a stick pin that got a precious shank added in a sizeable 6.5 USA size. The ring is made in 14k gold with the diamonds in the halo being set in silver that has a lovely patina to it.

    * Weights 3.79 grams

    *Faces 16mm by 11.7mm

    * Sapphire is natural earth mined treatment unknown however it appears to have natural ( unheated) inclusions under the microscope, dark blue sapphire cabochon with a slight hint of green and eye clean with good transparency and very light surface wear ( no chips), this sapphire meassures 8mm x 5.3mm x 3.7mm , calculated weight  approx 1.55ct 

    *Diamonds are round old mine cut I-K range and SI1-I1 , approx 0.80CTW for a total gemstone weight of 2.35CTW 

    * The ring is in good condition, there is a couple of diamonds with small nicks under magnification, and one of the bezels is lacking the patina on the outside ( possible repair job) otherwise this ring looks fantastic
