ANTIQUE RUSSIAN ROSE CUT DIAMOND TIARA RING

This is a neat Imperial Russian ring made in the early 20th century probably right before the Russian revolution of 1917, making it a great piece for any collector of antique jewelry.

The hallmarks are number 56 zolotnik Imperial Russian gold standard (14K) and also indicate the ring was made in St. Petersburg by master jeweler Alexander Tillander, and imported into France later in it's life. Alexander Tillander and his family carried their jewelry legacy for over a century and the Tillander brand is currently based of Finland. Tillander was also one of Faberge's workmasters at some point, making pieces for the classic Russian jewelry house.

The ring has a rose cut diamond that faces 9.8mm by 6.5mm with nice height to it, the diamond should be around 1-1.2ct of weight although a proper estimation is not possible due to it being closed back. It appears to be foiled and approximately J color, it does have some inclusions however with the natural oxidation on the foil it is very hard to tell what is what, if you have owned a antique foiled rose cut you probably know what I am referring to. The rubies are presumed syntethic and all appear original. The diamond accents are rose cuts and also appear all original.
There is a sizing seam on the back of the ring but otherwise it does not seem to have undergone any other repairs, wear conmesurate with age.

Currently a size 8.5, can be sized but please consult with me first.
