18k YELLOW GOLD HEART SHAPPED OPAL RING

Lovely heart shaped opal and old mine cut halo ring in solid rich 18k yellow gold. The opal is bezel set with fine milgrain and it displays all the colors in a soft pastel rainbow. My photos do not do it justice to the beautiful colors. The ring has a full set of english marks that were rubbed off, and another small set of fresher marks next to them, not sure what this means, probably re-stamped in absense of the old marks? either way, I believe this is a late victorian or early 1900's piece, all components original and in very good condition, the opal conserves a lot of it's luster. 

Dimensions: size 6, weights 4.6 grams, 13.5mm north - south, 12.5mm east- west

Stones: Heart shaped natural opal and approx. 0.30CT of old mine cut diamonds

Metal: Two stamps indicating 18k yellow gold.
