One of the prettiest antique opal rings I have ever seen! Crafted in unmarked platinum with amazing engraved details in the back gallery and shank, and overall beautiful metal work , the ring has some wear on the metal and light wear on the opal, which doesn't exhibit any crazing or damage otherwise.
Early 19th century classic halo with approximately 1ctw of H-I VS1-SI1 quality old cuts, opal faces 15.9 by 10.2 and calculates to approximately 5 carats. The opal is of amazing quality exhibiting a lot of orange and pink together with the classic green and blue, which is a highly desirable attribute. There is not a single dead spot on the opal and it looks amazing in all light conditions. Ring is currently a size 6.5 and can be sized. Ring faces overall 21mm by 14.9mm.
