This stunning necklace is perfect for those who like to layer they necklaces. Chunky 5.3mm wide links and 16.3 inches in length, with a solid gold weight of 9.5 grams. The links have little star motifs on each and every one, just so adorable! The necklace is not marked but it was tested to be 14k solid gold, the catch is a lower non original replacement.
The inside of the links show a dark patina earned with age, and the links so have flea bites on the edges, also earned with age as well as some being slightly bent out of round, due to the softness of the gold, but overall this does not affect how the chain looks when it is worn, rather adds to it's antique charm. With such a unusual pattern on the links and the rich yellow gold I feel it is a one of a kind find.
