ANTIQUE OPAL AND OLD EUROPEAN CUT DIAMOND RING

Amazing opal and diamond ring late 19th to early 20th century, I love that is not a conventional halo and the larger stones on the top and bottom give it a more elongated look, on top of that the diamonds are delicious and super sparkly. The inside has an inscription that reads Oct 13 Mary Mc Miller... likely a sentimental gift for Mary. 

The  Opal measures 10.3mm x 7.5mm x 4.3mm and calculates to approx. 2.0ct. 

The largest diamonds on the halo are 0.25ct each and the total carat weight is approx 1.15ct of diamonds, chubby old european cuts, G-I Vs1-Si1.

Size 7.25, weights 4.87g, faces 18.1mm by 13mm, tested and stamped 18k.
