ANTIQUE ROSE CUT DIAMOND IN ENAMELED GOLD SETTING

Beautiful and very rare antique foiled rose cut solitaire, with small rose cut accents and black enameled setting, in fantastic condition for it's age, which I believe to be from  early 19th century. The foil does have dust and dirt particles embedded in that gives it a bit of a gritty appearance, some love and some dislike the look, I personally grew to love stones that are set this way. The enamel has some minor surface nicks and very little loss.

DETAILS: Stone has a max diameter of 7.4mm and estimated I-J color and SI1 clarity, great stone that has no feathers or dark deposits of any kind at 10x magnification. The base of the ring at the widest part on the top is 10.7mm. The metal tests around 14k for purity and it has a rosy hue to it. The ring weights 3.77 grams and there is a seam in the back, indication that it was resized at some point in the past, and it is currently a size 7 1/4 USA.
