VICTORIAN SAPPHIRE AND OLD CUT DIAMOND RING

Here is a lovely late Victorian natural sapphire and diamond ring, I adore the low profile of this ring, details on the shank and the collet set diamonds, quite unique to find on a sapphire ring. Unmarked setting tests 18k gold, and is topped with silver as was common on the Victorian era, the backside is beautiful as well, high quality piece.

The center sapphire is approximately 1 carat in weight and is a deep blue color, presenting natural inclusions which would indicate is is not enhanced, however it is not certified, but guaranteed natural. The diamonds are approximately 0.50ctw old mine cut diamonds, ring appears to have no repairs and all stones original.

This ring is a size 5 3/4 and can be sized, measures 13mm north-south and 11mm east-west and weights 3.61 grams.
