I am so in love with this ring! the red hearts and black onyx combined with the step cut center are a really great combination and not something I have seen before. The center emerald cut diamond is approximately 0.35ct and H-I color, vs clarity, the surrounding diamonds are european cuts of similar quality and the total diamond weight on the ring is approx. 1.03ctw. The heart shaped rubies are a really nice deep shade, I was unable to determine if they are synthetic or natural because they lack any inclusions, and synthetic corundum was widely used at the time. The rubies and onyx do show some wear as expected on a ring this age, but othewise it is in very good condition. The ring is stamped "platinum" and "certified" some jeweler probably left that stamp there after assessing the ring some time ago.
Currently a size 5, the ring can be sized. Measures 22.3mm north-south.
